hills {family}

It was the perfect day.
 The weather finally cooled down a bit, and the sun shone all day long.
Add this adorable family with their two beautiful daughters and you have the best day ever.

MTR Camp

  MTRCamp 2013

I loved getting to photograph MTRCamp @ Cornerstone Prep.

And my dad told me that the students grew by 11% on their summer-end math test and learned, on average, an additional 49 sight words during the four week camp.  Plus I got all these great pictures, and more.

My dad also says you can apply to work at MTRCamp 2014 beginning October 1st or for

 the MTR residency Class of 2015 beginning September 1st.

Go to

www.MemphisTR.org

to apply for both.

Enjoy.

may {senior}

Yesterday I had the privledge of taking my sweet sister's photos. Although we have already had her senior session, the day where she leaves to be a Tar Heel started to come closer and I decided we could do a part 2. And this sister let me do something a little more unique to practice, isn't she sweet?
Enjoy!

hayley and p.j {wedding}

On Saturday, I had the privilege of taking Hayley and P.J's wedding photos.
I went to the salon with Hayley and her bridesmaids to capture their hair being curled and make-up being done as well as the hotel for the dresses to be put on.
And then, to the ceremony for, well, the wedding!
It was a day full of joy and laughter and I enjoyed ever moment of it.
Thank you, Hayley and P.J., for letting me tag along on your big day!

ross and rachel {wedding}

My cousin got married last week and they asked to take photos of their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
I loved seeing the things normally people don't see during a wedding.
It was so fun and sweet to photograph.
Congratulations , Ross and Rachel!

remigailos {family}

Despite the heavy rain, we tried our very hardest to make these pictures happen.
Why? Because they will be gone all summer and yesterday was the only day we could do it.
Rain wasn't going to stop us.
Thankfully, the rain cleared and the sun shone through.
And I was so happy it did.

the shaws {family}

This sweet lady happens to be a photographer who was and is an extremely influential mentor in my photography career.
She asked me to take photos of her (and her husband) because she is re-doing her website and needed so updated photos and I was so, so happy to take them.
Yes, I love the Shaws.
(Aren't they precious?!)

erin and cullen {engagement}

This was one of the most fun sessions I have ever done.
Not only is this couple precious, but they are so fun.
I mean, when she mentioned something about a paint fight?
Um, yes.
And not to mention so joyful and positive.
When they saw rain coming?
They told me they would like some shots in the rain.
Um, yes
It was a joy to photograph you, Erin and Cullen, and we are so, so happy for you!

dormans {family}

This family might as well be the cutest family on Earth.
So sweet, joyful and kind.
Oh, not to mention adorable.
I don't need to tell you that, though, because I'm pretty sure these photos show it.

mae and david {children}

This family was the very first family who asked me to professionally take their photos. Now, almost 6 months later, I met with them again to shoot some photos of their two beautiful kids.
Thanks, McRitchies, for giving that shy 13-year-old girl a chance 6 months ago.
I hope you love these photos as much as I do.
